SHIPPING
What are your shipping charges?
Shipping is $10 for orders up to $99.99 and $12 to $15 for
higher priced orders. Delivery is 3-5 business days after
receipt of order and includes insurance and tracking
number when shipped in North America. A 1-888 phone
number and url for tracking (North America only) will
be emailed to you immediately after the order ships.
US CUSTOMERS
PLEASE NOTE: Due to
the recent world tensions US customs have been checking many
more parcels than usual. We have noticed that some packages
to the USA can take up to 11 business days for delivery, mainly
due to US customs searches.
If I order today how quickly will
I get my order?
Approximately 95% of all ground shipment orders placed before
12pm Pacific time ship the same day they are received. Delivery
to the United States takes about 3 - 5 business days. If you
need faster shipping, contact us for shipment rates.
How do I track my order?
You will be emailed a tracking number and 1-888 number after
your order is shipped. The url for tracking will be listed
in the email. *This service is available
only to North American customers at this time.
Has my order shipped?
When your order ships you will receive an email from us with
your tracking information.
Do you ship outside of North America?
YES. We currently will ship to the U.K., Ireland,
Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium,
Sweden,
Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand,
Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan, We may ship to additional
countries in the future.

PAYMENT
Why do you only accept PayPal for
payment?
We accept credit cards (MasterCard and Visa) and bank money
transfers world wide using PayPal. We have decided on using
the PayPal service because PayPal transactions are 100% guaranteed
against fraud. Using PayPal also allows us to accept credit
card and money transfer purchases without having to raise
the prices at Discount-Software.ws due to credit costs. Our
goal is to offer our customers the highest quality products
at the absolute minimum price. Our promise to you is that
we will never inflate the base price of our products to cover
credit card costs. We will also accept Western Union payment.

How does the PayPal process work?
Once you complete the ordering process from our order pages
we will send you an e-mail invoice which will show purchase
price plus shipping costs. You will need to setup a free account
with PayPal. You then have the option to pay by credit card
or you can pay via direct money deposit. After you set up
your free account, you will go to “Send Money”. Login and
then make your payment. You may contact PayPal at 1-888-221-1161
24 hours a day, 7 days a week if you have any further questions.

ORDERING
What is OEM software?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. These products
are like products you may have received when you bought a
computer; plain shrink wrap packaging with minimal printed
documentation. This software typically provides less support,
less documentation and no fancy box. However, these are fully
registerable software with full upgrade privileges just like
the “full” retail version. *OEM is exactly the same as retail
software except there is no cardboard box. OEM software must
be bundled with computer hardware, and so this will be shipped
with an unwarranted piece of hardware. The hardware will not
be warranted, and cannot be returned.
Why is your software so inexpensive
compared to the other retailers?
We minimize our overhead by stocking mostly top selling software
only and try to get the best deals for them. We also sell
what are called OEM versions, the same software as the box
version without the box and the manual. By foregoing the fancy
box and typically slim manuals you end up saving a considerable
amount. The manuals are typically included on the CD in PDF
or Word format. Considering that new versions of software
come out every 12 months or so you can use the savings to
upgrade. You get exactly the same software and often with
the same upgrade privileges. Sometimes, there are limited
support options like no free phone calls or perhaps a minor
utility or limited third party software included with the
box version. These differences will be noted on the product
description page. Often the third party software or utility
may be downloaded off a web site or a similar alternative
may be available for free or as shareware. Again, it will
be noted on the products page if an alternative exists.

support?
Unless otherwise stated all our products are for the Windows
98x,NT,2000,XP platform.

What currency are your prices in?
All prices listed are in US dollars.
Are there any taxes?
None for USA customers. We ship from Canada so no state or
federal tax of any type is charged for shipments going to
the USA. Canadian orders are charged any applicable provincial
and GST rates.

What about product returns?
If you qualify for our Merchandise Return you may return the
product to us within 15 days receipt of purchase. Please email
customer service
to obtain an Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA).
DO NOT RETURN ANYTHING TO US WITHOUT AN RMA NUMBER. Shipping
and handling (S&H) charges are non-refundable; however we
will refund your original shipping cost if the return is a
result of our error, or the product is determined by Discount-Software.ws
to be defective. Any opened software package is not returnable.
How do I know you sell legitimate
merchandise?
We actively inspect all stock we receive and have very strict
internal guidelines for the receiving and inspection of merchandise.
We absolutely do not ever sell counterfeit products.
Is your software used?
No. We do not sell used software. Occassionally a product
may have broken shrink wrap as we have very high quality checking
standards and we inspect all products that we receive for
authenticity.
Do you carry products not listed on
your site?
Yes we do. Although our goal is to carry the top selling products
in each category we can supply most commercial Windows software.

Is my personal information kept private?
