Roxio's Easy CD Creator 7 lets you capture, organize, edit, burn and share music, data, photo and video on CD or VCD -- all in one integrated product!

Music

Simple, intuitive User Interface lets you access your photo, video, data, and music components with the click of a button.

Disc Copier lets you make back-up copies of personal discs with one click - just select the Source, Destination and click Copy. Listen to your back-up CD in the car, portable CD player, home stereo or share with friends and don't ever worry about the original.

Creator Classic lets you easily copy music from an existing Audio CD to your hard drive and save as MP3, WAV, or WMA file. If you are connected to the Internet, the track, artist and album information will be automatically displayed, so that you won't need to retype it when creating a compilation disc, printing a CD label or transferring music to your mp3 player.

Sound Editor lets you easily convert analog audio from LPs or tapes into .wma or .mp3 format. Connect a turn table or stereo to your computer's sound input and click play/record. You can even dramatically improve the sound quality by removing pops, clicks and hiss with special filters and effects.

DVD Authoring

DVD Builder-VCD Edition
Disc Copier provides you with a transparent way to make high quality copies of non-protected DVD Video. Disc Copier clearly displays the video, audio and extras content on the DVD, so that you can remove the unwanted parts and subsequently increase the resulting DVD quality

DVD Builder enables you to create professional-looking DVDs, VCDs and SVCDs with Hollywood-standard Dolby Digital sound . Move menus, resize buttons, add motion backgrounds and personalize text credits. Work with professionally-designed content templates or create your own from scratch.

Video Editing

SmartScan saves you time and hard disk space by quickly scanning the content and displaying the thumbnail previews of all the scenes on your video camera without actually copying the content on the hard disk. Just select which scenes you'd like to copy and click capture.

Use professional editing tools with the new timeline, which supports up to 14 tracks and in-place editing. Exercise complete control over the timing of specific assets in your production, including background audio, narration, video clips, titles, and special effects, as well as the whole production.

StoryBuilder guides you through the process of creating a movie. It's ideal if the video content is based on a theme (e.g. Wedding, Birthday Party, or Baby's First Steps). Just choose intro and ending templates, personalize the titles and indicate which video clips and music theme you want to use, and StoryBuilder will create a video for you in no time.

It's easy to edit your video in StoryBoard, which is part of Videowave. Just drag and drop your video clips from the Media Manager to the storyline. Trim your video to get rid of the scenes you don't like. Preview and select transitions, special effects, overlays and background audio and add them to selected clips or to the whole video production. Use the powerful text editor to add a personal touch to your project with titles, captions and credits.

Data Backup

Creator Classic lets you schedule regular reminders to back up you system files and important documents. Select What, When and How to back up and click Burn. Add an extra level of security to your Creator Classic back-up project by enabling 128-bit encryption and password protection.

If you have a large project or folder that doesn't fit on one CD or DVD, Creator Classic helps you automatically span it over multiple discs. The Status Bar at the bottom of the Workspace area gives you the estimated project size and the number of discs required. Roxio Retrieve lets you automatically recover the files from a multi-disc set.

Easily find the files your want with the powerful search engine. Dynamically browse files by date in Calendar view. Assign tags to categorize your photos by people, places, or events. Preview any audio and video files without leaving the component.

Label Creator:
The Instant Label Creator enables you to save time and produce personalized disc labels, covers and case inserts automatically while you burn. You can use professionally-designed theme templates, or create your own from scratch. The new Print Direct to Disc feature includes built-in support for direct to disc media and printers.

Digital Media Services:
Connect to the Digital Media Services page, which displays the latest offers by Roxio partners. This is the easiest way to post your photo albums, video productions or slide shows to the Internet and share with friends and family via an online sharing service.
